评〈婚姻、公民结合,与家居伴侣法对孩子身心健康之影响〉

拜读贵报刊载文章〈婚姻、公民结合,与家居伴侣法对孩子身心健康影响〉一文[1],有感文章似为某种政治立场服务,过于谈论儿科专业的科学事实。本人认为该文仅为伪科学,因内容并未提及任何原创研究,且就关于同性恋对儿童、家庭与社会影响之评论明显偏颇。本人认为该文只适合置于《儿科医学》的读者意见部分。

虽然文章起首似以对婚姻法评论的立场不偏倚自居,但文章明显予读者印象,令人觉得相关法例并不公平,是歧视同性恋伴侣;尽管有关法律经立法院及公众多数通过。文章第二部分提及一个论同性恋家庭对孩子影响的文献,其评论观点亦偏颇。其实就是略读关于同性恋的研究的文献,也可见同性恋生活方式无论对个人健康、对家人都有明显负面影响。惜该文作者未能以持平态度评价文献,也未提到该研究的方法学问题。[2-4]

其实早前已有研究显示,男女同性恋、双性变与跨性别人士:一、吸食安非他命、可卡因等毒品比率较异性恋者高;[5,6]二,有更多家暴问题;[5,6]三,服用精神科药物比率较异性恋者高两倍;[5,7]四,感染艾滋病以外的性病比率更高;[8]五,自杀念头与真正自杀风险更高。[7,9]再者,男同性恋者寿命一般较男异性恋者短8至20年,[10, 11]也较少坚守一对一伴侣关系。[12] 在挪威及瑞典等同性婚姻合法国家,同性婚姻离婚率比异性婚姻更高。[13] 惜Pawelski等的研究未能阐明,上述情况对孩子身心健康的影响。

再者,文章亦未提及早至Erik Eriksen著作时代以来的多项研究,均显示父母各别特质对孩子正常心理发展至关重要。[13-15]研究显示,在异性婚姻下长大的孩子,其身心健康、学业表现,均较来自其他家庭背景孩子优胜,包括单亲、继父母,或同性伴侣家庭。[16, 17]
